Chateau Robert located in the southern French province of Landes was a spectacular location for a true French culinary journey. For two years I orchestrated local cuisine and wine menus for the chateau. Guests from England and America would stay for a week or more. I would prepare a variety of menus and culinary experiences for them with my more than thirty-years chef experiences. I would take them shopping at local markets for cooking class inspiration or simply to enjoy an al fresco wine tasting at local cafes, vineyards or our lavender, herb garden patio. All our guests discovered the timeless French joie d'vie. This is a collage of images and stories to transport you to this glorious lifestyle.
